New Safety Program to Launch in Summer of 2010

According to a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration estimate, fewer than 8% of carriers nationwide are audited each year. Under the new program titled CSA 2010, ALL carriers will be audited and will include drivers. The FMCSA says if CSA 2010 were in effect now, approximately 49% of the carriers on the road today would be declared unfit. The new program is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2010.
