House of Representatives Delays Transport Bill
The bill to raise the broker bond requirement to $100,000 has been postponed. This delays a five-year $260 million transportation bill proposed in the House of Representatives. The American Energy and Infrastructure Jobs Act was originally scheduled for vote early in the month now will be delayed until the end of February. This delay will allow lawmakers additional time to consider more than 200 amendments proposed in the 847 page bill. This bill also includes a study of the new HOS rules.
